Our Process
Nominations for the Black Marketers List ran from January 20, 2022 to March 4, 2022. Individuals had a chance to nominate others or themselves. Most nominees were notified in March and had a chance to provide a headshot and final details. AAMA wants to recognize Black marketers in the areas of leadership, content, design, strategy, and media. The categories include:
- Agency & Entrepreneurial Leaders
- Brand & Marketing Strategists
- Content: Creators, Curators, Copywriters
- Designers: Animation, Graphics, Web
- Influencers & Media Innovators: Social Media, Podcast, YouTube
