Career
Employers and recruiters can post open positions on our career board by visiting the Career Board page and submitting a job listing. We review all postings to ensure quality and relevance. Corporate members receive complimentary job postings as part of their membership benefits.
Job seekers can browse and apply to all listings on the career board for free. For employers, posting fees may apply depending on your membership level. AAMA corporate members can post jobs at no additional cost. Visit our Career Board page for current details on posting options.
Events
The Marketing for the Culture Summit is AAMA's flagship annual conference that brings together Black marketers, creatives, and industry leaders for a multi-day experience of keynote presentations, panel discussions, workshops, and networking. It is the premier gathering for professionals who are passionate about marketing within and for the Black community.
You can browse and register for upcoming events on our Events page. AAMA members receive early access and discounted pricing on most events. For the Marketing for the Culture Summit and other major events, registration typically opens several months in advance.
AAMA hosts a mix of virtual and in-person events throughout the year. Our monthly programming includes virtual workshops, webinars, and networking sessions. Larger events like the Marketing for the Culture Summit are typically held in-person with virtual attendance options available. Check our Events page for specific event formats.

The African American Marketing Association (AAMA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to educating, empowering, and elevating Black marketers and creatives. We provide professional development, networking opportunities, career resources, and community for marketing professionals at every stage of their career.
AAMA welcomes anyone who is passionate about supporting Black marketers and creatives. While our programs center the Black marketing community, membership is open to professionals of all backgrounds who share our mission of creating space for Black marketers.
Not at all. AAMA serves a broad community of professionals in marketing, advertising, public relations, branding, content creation, social media, design, and related creative fields. Whether you are a student exploring a career in marketing or a seasoned executive, AAMA has resources and community for you.
Membership
AAMA offers several membership tiers to fit different needs and budgets. Visit our Membership page for current pricing, including options for students, individual professionals, and corporate teams. We believe in making our community accessible to everyone.
Members enjoy access to exclusive events, professional development workshops, our career board, networking opportunities, mentorship programs, industry resources, and discounts on AAMA events like the Marketing for the Culture Summit. Members also gain access to our private community and member directory.
You can cancel your membership at any time through your account settings or by emailing info@aa-ma.org. If you cancel, you will retain access to member benefits through the end of your current billing period. We are always happy to discuss any concerns before you cancel.
Yes. AAMA offers corporate and group membership options that allow organizations to provide AAMA benefits to multiple team members. Corporate memberships also include additional perks like event sponsorship opportunities and visibility in our community. Contact us at info@aa-ma.org for details.
We offer three tiers: Community (free), Professional ($99/year), and Corporate ($499/year). Each tier provides increasing levels of access to events, resources, and community features.
Yes, you can change your membership tier at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately, and downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.
We offer reduced pricing for students and early-career professionals. Contact us at info@aa-ma.org with your student ID for details.
You can cancel anytime through your member dashboard. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period. No cancellation fees.
Yes! Our Corporate tier includes up to 5 team members. For larger teams, contact us for custom enterprise pricing.
